Billy Proulx: Bio

Billy Proulx has been a very busy boy. With his band the Crew, he has been playing places like the Lemon Festival in Upland, Froggee's in Apple Valley and 210 Tavern in Alto Loma and Cowboy Joe's in Norco just to mention a few.  They have also become popular at Inland Empire American Legion Posts .  Always a highly sought after hired gun Billy has been playing slide guitar and keyboards (and every other kind of guitar) for Peggy Lynn & the Vintage Cowboys, BYOB, Toomstone and sometimes The Skyline Express.  There's no telling where this guy might show up.  They really love private parties.

Billy Proulx has been entertaining audiences all over the southland and the southwest for over ?? years. He's played The Whiskey and The Troubador (before it was Pay to Play), The Museum Club in Flagstaff, the Sawdust Festival and so far, his biggest claim to fame is playing the BB King Blues Festival at the Universal Amphitheater, or maybe opening for the late Johnny Winters at BB Kings's at the Universal City Walk.

Solo, or with his band 'The Crew', Billy always pleases. With a warm 'welcome to my living-room style' he blends Blues, Rock 'n' Roll, and Folk, into an Americana mix that is powerful and authentic.

E.R. Saunders, who has played with Danny Kalb, James Clem, Steven Nystrup and others, adds his electrifying guitar to the Crew.  E.R. and Billy have produced their CDs.

Brian Rife on bass and Rick Henderson (or maybe Bill Anderson) on back beat drums round out The Crew.

If you like Roots, it doesn't get any better than these guys!
